Terms of Sale
Last updated:06 August 2026
1. Who we are
This website and the digital publication The High Society Cheat Code ("the Product") are sold by Secret Bibl, registered in England and Wales. You can contact us at lydia@secret-bible.com. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Secret Bible, and "you" means the person buying the Product.
2. The contract
Your order is an offer to buy the Product. We accept your order when we send you a confirmation email containing your download link, at which point a contract comes into existence between us. If we cannot supply the Product for any reason, we will tell you and will not charge you.
3. Price and payment
The price of the Product is as displayed on this website at the time you place your order, in US Dollars ($). Payment is taken in full at checkout. Checkout and delivery are handled by SendOwl; card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
If you are buying from outside the United Kingdom you may be charged local sales tax, VAT or import duties by your own authorities, and your bank may apply a currency conversion fee. These are your responsibility.
4. Delivery
The Product is a digital download. Immediately after payment you will be shown a download link on screen and sent the same link by email to the address you provided at checkout. Download links are time- and attempt-limited for security. If your link expires or fails, email us and we will issue a new one at no charge.
It is your responsibility to enter a valid email address. We are not liable for non-delivery caused by an incorrect address or by your own spam filters, though we will always help you retrieve your purchase if you contact us.
5. Your right to cancel, and why it is waived
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. That right does not apply to digital content once its supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right to cancel.
At checkout you are asked to give that consent and acknowledgement so that you can download the Product immediately. Once you have done so, the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies. Your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed content are unaffected — see our Refunds & Cancellation policy.
6. Licence and permitted use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use the Product for your own private purposes. You may store it on your own devices and print a copy for personal use.
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent, lend or otherwise distribute the Product or any part of it;
- upload it to any file-sharing service, forum, cloud drive or website accessible to others;
- reproduce substantial extracts in any publication, course or product of your own;
- remove or alter any copyright notice, watermark or purchaser identifier.
Copyright in the Product, including its text, layout and design, remains with [YOUR TRADING NAME]. Downloads may be watermarked with the purchaser's details.
7. Nature of the content — important
The Product is a general educational and entertainment publication about social presentation, etiquette and personal positioning. It is not, and must not be relied on as, financial, legal, psychological, medical or relationship advice. We make no representation or guarantee about any outcome, relationship, introduction or result you may or may not obtain. Any examples, case studies or named individuals in the Product are illustrative and, where individuals are described, fictional.
The Product describes meeting and speaking to strangers in public venues. You are responsible for your own safety. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and do not disclose your home address or financial details to people you have just met.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else which cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss that was not foreseeable at the time the contract was made, for any loss of profit, opportunity, income or goodwill, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Product. Our total liability to you in connection with the Product will not exceed the price you paid for it.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Changes
We may update the Product from time to time; where we do, existing purchasers will normally be given access to the updated file at no charge, but we do not guarantee this. We may amend these terms, and the version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order.
10. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email lydia@secret-bible.com and we will endeavour respond within 5 working days. We aim to resolve every complaint directly.
11. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you and we both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
